Professional bench service for engine ECUs, gearbox TCUs, body modules and instrument clusters — plus airbag module crash data clearing and 48V mild-hybrid battery repair. Mail-in from anywhere in the UK, or drop off in Newport, Shropshire. Most units are on the bench the same day they arrive.
Everything is done in-house on professional bench programming equipment — your unit is read, worked on and verified before it goes back in the post.
Full data transfer from your failed unit to a matching donor — immobiliser data, coding and adaptations included where supported. The donor becomes your car's unit: refit and drive, no dealer programming in most cases.
Firmware and EEPROM-level repair of common failures — BMW/MINI FRM3 modules killed by a flat battery, corrupted memory after jump starts, dead clusters and mechatronic data recovery.
Your original airbag module wiped of stored crash events and returned fault-free — for vehicles undergoing professional accident repair. OBD one-click on many brands, bench service on the rest. Keeps your original coded unit.
Crash-locked or deep-discharged 48V mild-hybrid lithium batteries reset, recharged and cell-balanced — BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Volvo. A fraction of the £1,500+ dealer replacement cost.
Search by ECU model, part family or vehicle make. This is a working list of the platforms our bench equipment supports — if yours isn't shown, send the part number anyway and we'll confirm, usually within the hour.
After a collision — or a long period standing flat — the 48V lithium battery's management system locks itself and the car won't start. Dealers only offer a new battery. We reset the stored crash/fault lock at board level, recharge the pack to its rated voltage and balance the cells.
Send the part number and fault description by the form below, WhatsApp or eBay message. We confirm coverage and price before you post anything.
Tracked post to our Newport, Shropshire workshop (TF10) — or drop off locally. For cloning, send both your original unit and the donor.
Your unit goes on the bench the day it arrives in most cases. Data is read, transferred or repaired, checksum-corrected and verified before it comes off.
Tracked return post, usually next working day delivery. Cloned units refit and start without dealer programming in most cases — fitting notes included.
Every job is confirmed with a fixed quote before you send anything. These are typical prices — return postage included on standard services.

Both units — your original and a donor with the same part number. The original must have been communicating before it failed (that's where your car's data lives). Send us both part numbers first and we'll confirm they match before you post anything.
In most cases, yes. We transfer the complete dataset — including immobiliser data, coding and adaptations where the platform supports it — so the car accepts the donor exactly like the original. Where a platform needs an extra step after fitting, we tell you upfront and include fitting notes with the return.
Yes — reusing the original SRS module is a normal part of professional accident repair, once every deployed component (airbags, pretensioners, sensors) has been replaced. We return your module cleared and fault-free; the vehicle's SRS system must then be checked with diagnostics after refitting. We don't support using this service to conceal accident history.
No. Cluster and body module work is a data transfer that preserves the vehicle's original recorded mileage on the replacement unit. We do not offer mileage alteration.
Most units are worked on the same day they arrive and posted back tracked the same or next working day. 48V battery jobs can take an extra day because of the charge and cell-balance cycles.
We contact you before going any further and talk through the options — usually sourcing a donor for a clone instead. Water-damaged or burnt units are always inspected and quoted separately before any work starts.
