SRS Airbag Module Crash Data Reset by Post UK

After an accident, many airbag control modules store crash data and lock themselves until they are replaced. For the makes and part numbers listed below we can clear the crash data on your original module on the bench, keeping its original coding.

from £38Free tracked return postage to a UK address is included in the price. Pay now or when the work is done — full refund if we can’t do it.
Important: bench service on the airbag control module only. No airbags, inflators, pretensioners or pyrotechnic parts are supplied or accepted. Every module is read in full and backed up before any reset, and the original coding is kept. The car must be properly checked and repaired after the accident — restraint system parts replaced as required — before the module is refitted. We don't offer crash data reset for German marques.

What it is

This is a bench service on the airbag control module (SRS ECU) only. We read the module's memory in full and save a copy before touching anything, clear the stored crash data, keep the original coding and identity, and verify the result before return. We do not supply or accept airbags, inflators, seat-belt pretensioners or any other pyrotechnic parts.

What to send

How it works

  1. Send us a photo of the label — use the quote form or WhatsApp. We check the part number and send you a written quote: the price and what to send.
  2. Book and post — reply to the quote to book (or pay now on the service page), then post your module(s) (for a clone: your original and a donor with the same part number) as shown in How to post your module. Drop-off in Newport (TF10) by appointment.
  3. Bench read and assessment — we read and back up the original first. If the job can't be done, we tell you and send your module(s) back with no charge for the work.
  4. We do the job — and verify the result on the bench.
  5. You pay — if you haven't paid up front, we send you a secure card / PayPal payment link once the work is done (or you can use our Pay page). If the job can't be done, an up-front payment is refunded in full.
  6. Tracked return — as soon as it's paid, your module goes back by tracked post.

FAQ

Is this allowed?

Where the vehicle manufacturer's repair method allows it, clearing stored crash data from the original module can form part of a proper accident repair — it is never a substitute for one. The vehicle must be inspected and repaired properly after the crash, with any deployed or damaged restraint system parts (airbags, pretensioners, sensors, wiring) replaced as required, before the reset module is fitted. We ask you to confirm this when you book.

Do you keep my original coding?

Yes. The module is read in full and a backup is saved before any reset, and the original coding and identity are kept.

Can you do my make?

Only the makes and part numbers on this page. We don't offer crash data reset for German marques. Send a label photo to check.
