What it is
An immobiliser module clone copies the key and vehicle data from your original module into a matching donor. It is a like-for-like data transfer for owners and trade repairers — it does not remove, bypass or disable the immobiliser.
Typical symptoms
- Keys not recognised after a module failure
- Immobiliser module dead or water damaged
- Module replaced with a used unit and the car won't start
What to send
- The original module and the matching donor
- Proof of ownership for the vehicle (V5C) or, for trade, your business details and job sheet
- Your details and job reference
How it works
- Send us a photo of the label — use the quote form or WhatsApp. We check the part number and send you a written quote: the price and what to send.
- Book and post — reply to the quote to book (or pay now on the service page), then post your module(s) (for a clone: your original and a donor with the same part number) as shown in How to post your module. Drop-off in Newport (TF10) by appointment.
- Bench read and assessment — we read and back up the original first. If the job can't be done, we tell you and send your module(s) back with no charge for the work.
- We do the job — and verify the result on the bench.
- You pay — if you haven't paid up front, we send you a secure card / PayPal payment link once the work is done (or you can use our Pay page). If the job can't be done, an up-front payment is refunded in full.
- Tracked return — as soon as it's paid, your module goes back by tracked post.
Not included
- Immobiliser removal or bypass — never offered
- Programming keys to a module posted to us
- Work on a vehicle without proof of ownership
Makes covered
BMW, Fiat, Honda, Hyundai, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Nissan, Renault, Vauxhall — only the part numbers listed. Always confirm by label photo.
FAQ
Why do you ask for proof of ownership?
Immobiliser work is security-sensitive. We ask for a V5C (or trade job details) so we only help owners and genuine repairers.
Do you do immo off?
No. We only do like-for-like data transfer between matching modules.
