About fixmyecuuk
fixmyecuuk (also written FixMyECU UK) is a one-person UK mail-in bench service based in Newport, Shropshire TF10. It clones, repairs and resets vehicle electronic modules — engine ECUs, gearbox TCUs, BCM/BSI body modules, immobiliser boxes, instrument clusters and (non-German) airbag modules — for owners and the motor trade across the UK.

I've spent 20+ years in the motor trade and now work at the bench on ECUs, gearbox controllers, body modules, immobiliser boxes, clusters and airbag modules sent in from all over the UK. Every module is handled personally, from the first label photo to the tracked return.
How I work
- Check first, pay last. I confirm your exact part number from a label photo before you post. You can pay now, or when the work is done by a secure payment link — and if I can't do the job, you get a full refund.
- Back up first. The original is read and saved before anything is written, and every clone is read back and compared with the original before it's returned.
- Repair before replace. Many "dead" modules have a board fault that can be repaired — I'll tell you if that's the cheaper option.
- Honest limits. If a module can't be done reliably with my equipment, I'll say so rather than take your money.
What I won't do
No immobiliser removal ("immo off"), no key programming to posted-in modules, no mileage alteration, and no SRS crash data reset on German marques. For immobiliser-related jobs I ask for proof of ownership.
