Can the Land Rover BCM MC9S12XET256 Body Control Module Bench be cloned?
Yes — this is a service we list for the modules described on this page. Your original's data is transferred into a matching donor with the same part number. We confirm your exact label before you post, and you can pay now or when the work is done.
On Land Rover and Range Rover models the body control module — called the BCM, CJB or CEM depending on the model — holds the vehicle's configuration and security data. A used unit from another vehicle won't be accepted until your original's data has been transferred into it, which is what our clone does.
Which versions are covered?
We don't list individual part numbers for this service. Send a photo of the label and we'll confirm whether yours is covered before you post.
Processor: MC9S12XET256 (the chip on the board, not a part number)

How long does it take?

More questions
Will my existing keys work?
In most cases, yes — the key data comes across with the clone. We do not program new keys to posted-in modules.
Is my module actually faulty?
Often a 'dead BCM/BSI' is a blown fuse, a corroded connector or a relay on the board. If we see that on the bench we'll tell you — a repair can be cheaper than a clone.
