Can the W205 W207 W212 Mercedes BCM Body Control Module be cloned?
Yes — this is a service we list for the modules described on this page. Your original's data is transferred into a matching donor with the same part number. We confirm your exact label before you post, and you can pay now or when the work is done.
Mercedes-Benz SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) units distribute power and control lighting and other functions at the front or rear of the car. They are often damaged by water leaks. A replacement SAM needs the original's coding data transferred to behave correctly.
Which versions are covered?
We don't list individual part numbers for this service. Send a photo of the label and we'll confirm whether yours is covered before you post.

How long does it take?

More questions
Will my existing keys work?
In most cases, yes — the key data comes across with the clone. We do not program new keys to posted-in modules.
Is my module actually faulty?
Often a 'dead BCM/BSI' is a blown fuse, a corroded connector or a relay on the board. If we see that on the bench we'll tell you — a repair can be cheaper than a clone.
