Peugeot / Citroën BSI EL3 / EL4 Processor Transfer to Donor
Peugeot / Citroën BSI EL3 / EL4 Processor Transfer to Donor: a UK mail-in bench service from fixmyecuuk in Newport, Shropshire, from £250 including free tracked return. The processor that holds your car's data is moved from your original board onto a donor board with the same part number, so nothing is rewritten and your keys, PIN and coding stay the same. Typical turnaround is 1–3 working days. You can pay now or when the work is done — full refund if we can't do it.
- 1–3 working days
- 90-day warranty
- Free tracked return
- Pay now or after the job
Method: processor (MCU) transfer — not a read-and-write clone. On BSI EL3 / EL4 your car's data (VIN, keys, PIN and configuration) is bound to the main processor, so the processor itself is moved: it is removed from your original BSI by BGA micro-soldering, reballed and fitted to a donor BSI with the same part number.
Nothing is read out or rewritten — the data moves with the chip, so your keys, PIN and coding stay the same and the donor board becomes your BSI.
The processor on your original must be undamaged. Water- or fire-damaged units are assessed from photos first, before any work is done.
Can your Peugeot / Citroën BSI EL3 / EL4 be moved to a donor board?
Yes, for the versions listed below, as long as the processor on your original is undamaged. It is moved onto a donor board with the same part number; we confirm both labels from photos before you post.
Which part numbers and versions are covered?

How does it work?
- SendLabel photo first — we confirm the price and what to send. Pay now or after the job, and post it.
- We clone itOriginal backed up first, clone read back and verified on the bench.

- Immobiliser removal
- Fitting or coding other modules in the car
How long does it take?

More questions
Will my existing keys work?
In most cases, yes — the key data comes across with the clone. We do not program new keys to posted-in modules.
Is my module actually faulty?
Often a 'dead BCM/BSI' is a blown fuse, a corroded connector or a relay on the board. If we see that on the bench we'll tell you — a repair can be cheaper than a clone.
