How this job is done

For Porsche rear BCMs (Panamera 970, Cayenne 958, Macan 95B, 911 991) that are too water- or fire-damaged to be read or cloned in the normal way.

Method: MCU transplant. The main microcontroller (MC9S12XET512), which holds your car's data, is removed from your damaged board and soldered onto a donor board with the same part number and version, so the donor carries your car's data across. Nothing is rewritten.

You send both units: your damaged original and the donor. Both are returned to you tracked.

Can your chip or board be transplanted or read?

Often, if the chip can be read. Send photos of the board and chip markings first and we'll confirm.

How to pack and post your module →

How much does it cost?

from £150 for the bench work, including free tracked return to a UK address. The exact price is confirmed from your photos before you post.

Please note: this is micro-soldering on a damaged board. If the transfer can't be completed, there's no charge for that work (terms, section 5). On a heavily damaged unit we may ask for a bench-assessment fee, but only if we agree it with you in writing before you post. A working result can't be guaranteed with a donor of a different version, so we confirm both labels from photos first.
